Founding Product Engineer

• Built KIPIO's endpoint data loss prevention (DLP) agent as primary author, protecting sensitive data in employees' use of AI tools; owned it end to end, from architecture and desktop integration to packaging, installer and CI.
• Rebuilt the cloud policy engine as a standalone service, which evaluates activity against admin-defined policies in real time.
• Set up GCP infrastructure (GKE, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub) with Terraform, plus deployment pipelines for these services.
• Delivered both systems in previously unfamiliar languages by working AI-first. Set the coding conventions AI agents follow on the team, and kept quality high with TDD, strict lint gates and review on every PR.

• Combined team lead, tech lead and Scrum Master roles for a team of 5: ran sprint planning, turned business requirements into technical tasks, reviewed code, and unblocked developers on hard problems.
• Led the team that took Elsight Positioning from the CTO team's proof of concept to production. The product gives autonomous platforms absolute geolocation even when GPS is jammed or spoofed, using cellular signals, with real-time spoofing detection. Contributed code directly, guided design and implementation, and extended the original design to make it more robust.
• Coordinated with product, QA, DevOps and customer support to deliver features end to end.
• Led the team's work on the device telemetry pipeline as technical lead: guided the design, reviewed the code, and supported the developer who built it.
• Integrated a newer 4G modem from our modem provider into Halo, Elsight's connectivity product: built APIs for its features, such as restricting network technology to 3G, implemented with AT commands.
• Built per-device usage metering that tracks connection time, giving admin and marketing teams the metrics behind usage-based billing.
• Built Python services for Linux-based IoT devices, and REST APIs for microservices using Flask, MongoDB and Redis.
• Implemented asynchronous workflows with Celery & RabbitMQ for time-intensive data processing and retries.
• Reduced CPU usage from 90% to 40% and improved API response times by 20% through profiling, code tuning and uWSGI configuration.
• Automated API testing with Behave (BDD) to maintain 90%+ coverage on critical endpoints.
• Deployed and monitored services on AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Cognito, EventBridge), and contributed to Jenkins CI/CD workflows.

• Collaborated with the Solution Architect during the initial product design phase, then built the platform's core backend services.

• Built the e-health appointment system: online booking for patients, and doctor and schedule management for clinics; extended it to vaccination appointments.
• Integrated payment systems, plus third-party and in-house product management (products, stock and discounts).

• Built a blood request system that notifies people with the matching blood group and lets them respond.
